That’s why Marchitects extends beyond events and advertising into SME brand development, partnering with selected manufacturers to create and grow brands under our guidance. The Architects

At the heart of Marchitects are two people who see the world — and their work — through very different lenses.

Sapna Jayarathne,
the CEO, is the face many meet first. She is the voice on the mic, the steady presence in fast-moving moments, and the one who shapes the energy of the room. Sapna leads from the front — hosting, coordinating, planning, and bringing the human connection that gives each event its character.

Thedan Weragoda, the Co-Founder, is the mind who shaped the brand’s foundation and continues to build its internal structure. Thedan created the name “Marchitects”, designed the early framework behind the brand, and drives the strategy, creative direction, and analytical thinking that guide its growth. Where Sapna brings instinct and presence, he brings clarity and architecture.

They work differently. They think differently. And that is exactly why it works.

Sapna is the front-end — the human connection, the voice, the momentum. Thedan is the back-end — the blueprint, the logic, the identity.

Together, they form a complete system: two interlocking pieces that create one coherent vision. One builds what people feel. The other builds what the brand becomes.
